Football is a kind of sport filled with enthusiasm, and by challenging their competitors and themselves as well, players show the spirit of sport vividly. Different from athletics based on the self-surpassing, football, as an art of collision, contains strong antagonism. The competition of players, as well as that at spiritual level of football fans is the key to football as a sport. The way to spur the enthusiasm of players and spectators and by reflecting such enthusiasm back to establish the atmosphere is where the design focus.

The inspiration of Proposal 1 derives exactly from the thinking of such competitive atmosphere. Players compete in the field and lit the passion of the spectators which again stimulating the footballers and driving the zeal to the submit. Volcano, however, reflects it properly. Energy deep in the mountain collide to the center and the power compacting in the spot explodes and drives up out of the mountain, show the power of the mother earth. The power of volcano is similar to the enthusiasm of football. From different direction to the center and from bottom to top, the passion of football rises through the center hole, and rises the heat of the city, in praise of such art of collision.

Compare to the vertical emitting of  the football enthusiasm in Proposal 1, the second proposal adopts the horizontal way. Different from the ring-style of traditional stadium bleachers and each of them has an entrance, this proposal involves bleacher-boxes in different levels, which is more suitable to small groups of spectator. The fierce changing of the fa?ade comes from the virtual interface where the power from the field and that on the bleacher meets.
